The last post for the May fighting fund brought in £989, which included a generous donation of £500 from a Devon comrade as well as £50 from a Southall supporter and £39 raised at last weekend’s meeting of the Metropolitan Cell & Supporters Group. The grand total for the month came to £3,310 – sadly £190 short of our £3,500 target. But we start again this month and hopefully we’ll hit the bulls-eye in June!
Reactionary parties and racist movements are never short of a few bob – they can always rely on their rich sponsors and the hidden hand of the state to keep them going to peddle their lies and filth across the media. We can only rely on our supporters to keep ahead of the game.
The survival of the New Worker depends on the support of our readers.
