The July appeal ended with a bumper £1,200 in the bag and a grand total of £2,800 for the month. Sadly £700 below our target but still a great effort considering much of it was made during our summer shut-down.
Many thanks to all who helped us on our way, such as the supporters at our Party Foundation Day reception last weekend who raised £416 for the New Worker and the supporters from Hull, Hereford, Wales, Scotland and the West Country whose donations guaranteed the continued production of the New Worker for at least another week.
Unlike Farage, we get no gifts or donations from City spivs and millionaire sponsors. We rely entirely on our readers to keep the New Worker going. The August appeal starts now and the target, as usual, is £3,500.
Help us get the communist message across and build the movement in Britain. Make sure that the communist voice is heard every week in every factory, office and neighbourhood across the country by supporting the fighting fund.
