pyongyang.html - In April 1992 representatives of 70 communist parties and progressive movements from all around the world -- including the New Communist Party of Britain -- met in the capital of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. There, in Pyongyang, they signed the joint statement known as the Pyongyang Declaration expressing their "firm determination to defend and advance the socialist cause". The declaration has now been endorsed by over 230 parties and movements.
