The Weekly paper of the New Communist Party of Britain
Week commencing 19th May 2017

The Fighting Fund

The May fighting fund has begun and £960 in the bag is a good start in the long march towards our £3,500 target. Those who helped us on our way last week include an old friend from a former Soviet republic who sent us £500, £15 from a Scottish reader and £50 raised at a meeting of the NCP Central Committee last weekend.

We all know that the fighting fund is the life-line of our communist weekly. It keeps the New Worker going by helping to pay the wages of our full-timers who run the paper. It helps pay for the leaflets, pamphlets and other print jobs we do in the NCP’s efforts to put communism back on the working class agenda. We need £2,540 by the end of the month to guarantee the survival of our communist paper.
