The Fighting Fund

The fighting fund collection at Sunday’s 40th anniversary celebration at the Marx Memorial Library came to a stomping £1,338. That along with two bankers’ orders, two donations totalling £40 from a regular supporter in Essex and £3 from another supporter in Larkhill in Scotland brought in a total of £1,506 and a grand total of £3,560 for June. Congratulations to everyone who helped us hit our target for the month. Let’s hope we can do it again in July.

We need to raise £3,500 for the fighting fund every month to keep our creditors at bay, maintain our print shop and pay the wages of our full-time workers We need money to keep our presses rolling every week to print the New Worker and the pamphlets that help strengthen the argument for socialism on the streets up and down the country.
