We got £480 this week thanks to supporters like the Midlands reader who gave us £50 and the London comrades who raised £25 at a meeting of the Metropolitan Cell & Supporters Group last weekend. The February appeal now stands at £2,922. We need another £578 to hit our fighting fund target for the month and we’ve only got one more campaigning weekend to do it!
Throughout the world the imperialists spread death and destruction – in Ukraine, in Venezuela, in Gaza and now, once again, in Iran. Our paper, our voice against imperialism, against war, must be heard. The New Worker is the only communist weekly in Britain. All donations, big or small, count in the struggle to get our paper out. Our voice is your voice – the call for freedom, social justice and peace that we’ve got to make heard on the street throughout the country to stave off the threat of fascism and pave the way to the bright red future that only socialism can bring.
This week we were delayed when one of computers went down – but we solved the problem in the end. Everything we do we think is worth the effort.
