This week’s donations came to £530 thanks to the Dinnington supporter who sent in £200, the Chigwell comrade who gave us £75, the East Anglian supporter who sent in a score and the members of the Metropolitan Cell & Supporters group that raised £36 at their meeting last weekend. We missed our target by a whisker – the grand total for August came to £3,419 – just £81 short of our target for the month.
Let’s see what we can do in September. The spirit of rebellion is once again sweeping through the heartlands of imperialism. Working people are challenging bourgeois mind control that wants to restrict public debate to law and order, immigration, inflation and whatever imperialist wars are going at the moment.
The New Worker is something different. We support the national liberation movements. We fight for peace and socialism. Something the bourgeois and social-democratic politicians never talk about. We know there’s an answer to the crisis of end-game capitalism – and that’s socialism. Help us put it back on the workers’ agenda by supporting the New Worker!
