US escalation in Afghanistan things can only get worse

PEACE campaigners have condemned the American decision to send thousands more troops to Afghanistan as a move than can only lead to more deaths, more refugees and more terror around the world. But the CIA is overjoyed because its black-ops budget — which is tied to the illegal opium trade in Afghanistan — is now secured possibly for another 20—50 years.

McDonald’s workers are ready to strike

WORKERS employed by the McDonald’s fast food restaurant chain in Cambridge and in Crayford in Kent have voted overwhelmingly for strike action in support of their claims for a £10-per-hour minimum wage, an end to zero-hour contracts and for union recognition.

Stop the War in Afghanistan

US President Donald Trump vowed to send more troops to Afghanistan this week — after having called for America to “get out” of the country in the years leading up to his successful bid for the White House.

During last year’s presidential campaign Trump vowed to “put America first” and reduce US imperialism’s military presence throughout the world. Now the chief US war-lord says he’s sending thousands more troops to Afghanistan to beef up the efforts of the American expeditionary force that props up the puppet government installed after US-led imperialism invaded and occupied the country in 2001.
